About us – Elite Precast Concrete

Formed in 2008, by Richard Doody and Alan Johnson, Elite Precast Concrete began manufacturing precast concrete products for other businesses, just outside the market town of Much Wenlock in Shropshire.

Two years later it became apparent that larger manufacturing premises were required and a move to nearby Telford prevailed. The company has continued to build upon its success, establishing a stronger workforce and a larger manufacturing unit. The latest acquisition includes 100,000 square feet of manufacturing and storage space.

In December 2022, Elite were delighted to complete the sale of 75% of their shares to the well-respected, Shropshire company, Lloyds Animal Feeds (LAF Holdings Ltd) in partnership with Richard Doody.

Elite Precast Concrete

This partnership cements the future of the business, which is to develop new products, into new sectors, whilst still holding on to its core values of great customer service, short lead times, quality products and above all making the lives of all stakeholders easier, from estimators to civil engineers to installers.

With established relationships with Network Rail, National Highways, housebuilders, contractors and builders’ merchants, our team is experienced in delivering to civil and infrastructure projects across the UK.

These have included building schemes such as HS2, motorways, the Olympic and Commonwealth Games and Hinckley Point and protecting and securing critical infrastructure including Buckingham Palace, Horse Guards Parade and major sporting and music events.
