Elite Precast Concrete celebrates Apprenticeship Week and the next generation of talent
Elite Precast Concrete is proud to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week by recognising the achievements and commitment of three valued members of its team: Jessica Doody, Matthew Whistance and Agy Serafin.
Apprenticeships play a vital role in developing skills, building confidence and creating long-term career opportunities within the construction and manufacturing sectors according to Louise Chouhan-Hodges, Business Manager at Elite Precast Concrete: “At Elite Precast Concrete, investing in people is seen as just as important as investing in products and innovation and this year’s Apprenticeship Week provides the perfect opportunity to highlight the positive impact of that commitment.”
“Jessica, Matt and Agy have each shown dedication, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic since joining the business. Through their apprenticeships, they are gaining hands-on experience alongside formal training, allowing them to develop practical skills while contributing to live projects and day-to-day operations across the company.”
Jessica is on a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship with Aston University, while Matt is on Mineral Product Technical Level 5 Apprenticeship with Derby University and Agy, who won Telford Apprentice of the Year, last October, is undertaking an Engineering Apprenticeship with Telford College.
Their progress reflects Elite Precast Concrete’s belief that apprenticeships are a powerful pathway into the industry, helping to build a skilled, motivated workforce for the future. By supporting apprentices at every stage of their development, Elite continues to strengthen its teams while creating meaningful career opportunities within the precast concrete sector.
Speaking during Apprenticeship Week, Elite Precast Concrete reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing emerging talent and encourages more people to consider apprenticeships as a rewarding route into construction and manufacturing.
Elite Precast Concrete would like to congratulate Jessica, Matt and Agy on their achievements so far and thank them for the positive contribution they make to the business. Their journeys are a great example of how apprenticeships help shape both individual careers and the future of the industry.
