Elite Precast Concrete is committed to sustainable development, environmental stewardship and continuous improvement in quality, health, safety and social value. This is aligned with the requirements of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), and reflects our membership in the Mineral Products Association (MPA) and adherence to its Sustainability Charter.

ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
- Integrate sustainability into all operations, aiming to reduce, reuse and recycle materials wherever possible.
- Use responsibly sourced, locally produced materials to minimise transport emissions and support the local and UK economy.
- Adopt energy-efficient production techniques and water conservation measures in manufacturing processes.
- Implement a Zero Waste policy, diverting 100% of process waste from landfill by recycling or reusing within the factory.
- Manufacture products designed for long lifespans (often exceeding 100 years, supporting circular economy principles and reducing the need for replacements.
- Monitor and reduce embodied carbon across the product lifecycle, from raw material sourcing to installation.
- Support biodiversity through responsible sourcing and environmental initiatives, in line with MPA and industry best practices.
ISO 9001 – Quality Management
- Maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System to ensure products meet or exceed customer, contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor quality objectives and performance, driving continuous improvement in business processes and product delivery.
- Ensure traceability of all raw materials and regular testing for dimensional accuracy, density and compressive strength.
- Comply with relevant British and Industry Standards.
ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety
- Provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors and visitors.
- Identify, assess and manage occupational health and safety risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of safety through training, first aid facilities and continuous improvement in health and safety practices.
- Encourage workforce participation in safety initiatives and provide opportunities for feedback and improvement.
Social Value and Community Engagement
- Employ over 90% of staff locally, offering apprenticeships, work experience and professional development opportunities.
- Support local charities, food banks and sports clubs and collaborate with educational institutions to nurture regional talent.
- Ensure prompt payment to suppliers and maintain an ethical, transparent supply chain.
- Foster diversity, equality and wellbeing within the workplace.
Compliance and Continuous Improvement
- Adhere to all applicable legal, regulatory and industry standards
- Participate in in annual audits and performance reporting as required by the MPA Sustainability Charter
- Engage with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers and the community, to promote transparency and collaboration
- Set measurable objectives for environmental, quality and health and safety performance and review them regularly for improvement
