Every product we make is cast from the same premium quality, high strength (50N/mm2) concrete.
Reusing/recycling/disposing
A number of Elite’s products (blocks, barriers etc) have a variety of different uses and we encourage clients to consider what else the product can be used for when it has come to the end of its original use (indeed it may well have a resale value).
If that is not an option then all of Elite’s products can be safely recycled without the need for special treatment i.e. they DO NOT contain any hazardous waste, organic materials etc.. We encourage clients to contact a local Construction and Demolition Waste Recycling company who will remove and recycle the products into another useful construction material. Disposal to a landfill or similar facility is therefore not necessary. Product content/raw material information is available on request.
Elite were the first and are by far the largest manufacturer of engineered interlocking blocks which are perfect for various temporary works, fire breaks, between stock piles, retaining, blast walls, pendine walls & push walls, and for creating solid barriers between open rail lines and those being replaced thus avoiding the need for disruptive ‘all line blocks‘ by allowing ‘adjacent live line working‘.
They are also ideal for leased sites where permanent infrastructure investment is not suitable. They can be moved to accommodate a change in business needs or premises, they can be financed and because Elite’s engineered blocks are cast with no recycled materials they are recognised and approved by the Environment Agency for forming fire breaks in Fire Prevention Plans – F.P.P.s.

Elite have ‘in house’ CAD design facilities so we can turn your ideas into reality (subject to appropriate third party structural engineering checks).
We can provide a full turnkey package of services including design, transport and installation – all available through our approved contractors.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure appropriate structural checks are carried out before any precast concrete products are installed.
We offer a nationwide next day delivery service and also an international service is always available (please enquire for further details). The provision of moffett, telehandler and hiab off-loading / placing services is, at all times, the responsibility of the client in terms of agreeing RAMS, supervision, provision of safe access and suitable ground conditions.
